Scuba training conducted as part of law enforcement and search and rescue needs. This type of diving differs from recreational, scientific, or commercial diving as generally planned with date, time, and location information. Public safety divers respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and may be required to deploy during foul weather, nighttime hours as well as in zero visibility and/or contaminated water.
IIn addition to open water diving skills, public safety divers require several specialized skills to include:

Conducting Risk Assessments.
SeaSearch and Rescue Procedures.
Zero Visibility and Contaminated Water.
Full-face masks with Communication Systems.
Evidence Recovery.
Drysuit and Sealed Suit Training with Surface Supplied Air.
Decontamination Procedures.
Prerequisites:Minimum age for this course is 21 years plus certification as a NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver or equivalent, a minimum of 50 open water scuba dives and current certification in first aid and CPR at the professional rescuer level. Contact us today for the next scheduled course.
